This year’s Australasian Fundraising Forum is again looking like the place to be in early September for the region’s top fundraisers.
Registrations to the event are on par with last year’s record numbers, and the diverse range of topics, case studies and speakers is proving a potent mix.
If you’re looking for digital inspiration there’s case studies from GetUp and Greenpeace‘s Seb Cumberbirch (pictured left) and Nicola Norris. Maryanne Plummer and Nicola Long from Pareto will also be sharing how to turn your direct mail appeals into successful digital integrated campaigns.
New unique donor research conducted by Martin Paul into donor behaviour and attitudes will also be released. The findings are based on feedback from supporters of a range of Australian charities, and delegates will learn how to leverage the findings to encourage greater donor loyalty and giving.
Bequests are also on the agenda with Cancer Council NSW sharing how a combination of telemarketing and implementing the findings from a website usability study are having a positive impact on bequest sign-ups and engagement.
If you’re looking for an example of a small organisation punching above its weight, the Shepherd Centre case study from Tatiana Isaacs (pictured right) is an inspirational story showing how big ambitions can drive fundraising success.
And for something a bit more “drilled down”, Amel Bendeddouche from Ask2 will share a range of test results on direct mail premium packs to explore what’s working and how to get the most out of premiums.
Plus there’s lots more including case studies from Royal Flying Doctors, Guide Dogs, and Amnesty, and thought leadership from influential UK fundraiser Mark Phillips.
The Australasian Fundraising Forum will be held September 2-4 in Sydney. For more information on the full program and speaker line-up go to www.fandp.com.au/aff
