Australia’s leading annual summit for philanthropy will be held online as a virtual conference in 2020, in line with social distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 epidemic.
The Generosity Forum is an annual conference that provides insights, inspiration, best practice, new developments and case studies from those leading change in philanthropy.
In 2020, the conference will make the move to a virtual event, with the full program to be delivered as a virtual conference on May 5.
As an added bonus, there is a $125 discount off the earlybird price to everyone who registers for Generosity Forum before the extended earlybird deadline of 2 April.
Alternatively, organisations can now also register for a great value 5-user or 10-user pass, saving up to $498 per-user off the regular price for Generosity.
What is a virtual conference?
Virtual conferencing, also known as webcasting, is a proven technology that has been around for years.
For the Generosity Forum, this means delegates and presenters will access the conference via the internet from their computer, laptop, or smart phone.
An experienced webcasting company has been hired to help host the conference.

With the current coronavirus situation, gatherings and meetings in the physical world are unable to take place.
Going ‘virtual’ means the conference can still go ahead. So you won’t miss out on the great topics, insights, case studies and inspiration delivered by our presenters.

Like many conferences, Generosity Forum breaks into concurrent sessions for part of the day. This means you have to make a choice between seeing certain sessions and missing others.

No matter where you are, you can access the conference as long as you have an internet connection. So virtual conferences allow great flexibility and convenience for attending.
4. No interstate travel or accommodation expenses
Many of our delegates come from interstate to attend the physical conference – which adds to the cost of attending. However, there’s no need to travel to attend a virtual conference so there’s no added expense.
