Grant:  International Day of People with Disability (I-Day) 2022 Grants

Areas of support: I-Day is held on 3 December each year. It is a United Nations sanctioned day that aims to promote awareness and understanding of disability issues and encourage support for the dignity, rights and well-being of people with disability. I-Day also seeks to increase awareness of the benefits of inclusion of people with disability in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.

Grant:  RACQ Foundation – Round 2 2022

Areas of support: RACQ Foundation helps impacted community groups recover from flooding, weather events, drought, bushfire and other natural disasters. The grant must be used to: pay for material items or something tangible; have a positive community impact; cover the costs incurred by the organisation in relation to the cleaning and restoration of property with any disaster mitigation works forming a component of the overall grant.

Grant value: Typically up to $50,000. Up to $100,000 under exceptional circumstances.

The Stay Connected Fund targets organisations with ideas and initiatives that aim to help people connect and belong. Areas of support: To support small organising projects that educate and organise new and diverse voices to advocate for a rapid transformation to net zero emissions using principles of climate justice. Priority will be given to projects that: Increase support for urgent action by engaging new and diverse members of the Australian community; Support projects that will have discernible local impact; Grow the climate movement by supporting smaller organisations or groups to undertake local or targeted action; Strengthen the capacity of grassroots organisations through developing skills in community organising, campaign strategy and fundraising; Improve the effectiveness of CANA as a movement institution.
Application deadline:  16 October 2022
Grant value: Usually $500 to $5,000, exceptionally up to $10,000.

Grant:  Gambling Community Benefit Fund Round 115

Areas of support: Provides funding to community groups and not-for-profit organisations in Queensland to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities. An eligible organisation can submit one application per funding round provided it does not have an approved application from a previous funding round that has not been acquitted. They can also submit to a round if they have an application pending in the previous round, on which successful applications have not yet been announced.
Application deadline:  31 October 2022
Grant value: Grants between $500 and $35,000.
