Areas of support: The Volunteering Innovation Fund supports Victoria’s Volunteering for Nature – Environmental Volunteering Plan and will provide new opportunities to encourage volunteering in and for nature. Successful applications will be those that support, expand and diversify environmental volunteering for all Victorians to get involved. They will be new and different ideas that create change, inspire volunteering and leave a legacy.

Grant: Regional Arts Fund – Cultural Tourism Accelerator Program
Areas of support: Enabling arts organisations to promote and develop cultural events for tourists across regional Australia. The program will increase tourism visitation in regional, rural and remote communities across Australia by providing financial support for arts and cultural activity. The program recognises that the cultural and creative industries play a critical role in contributing to the creativity, diversity and prosperity of Australia’s regional and rural economy.

Grant: Stronger Communities Programme – Round 7
Areas of support: To fund small capital projects in each of the 151 federal electorates. The program intends to encourage and support participation in local projects, improve local community participation and contribute to vibrant and viable communities. Round 7 of the program will continue to support Australia’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Grant: COVID-19 Youth Recovery Grants
Areas of support: To support community initiatives that assist young people in Western Australia during the recovery phase of this pandemic. Funding of up to $5,000 is available for one-off activities or initiatives with a duration of up to six months; funding of up to $10,000 is available for longer term community-wide strategic initiatives. In particular, projects that support, inform, and build capacity of young people in the following areas: gaining and retaining employment opportunities; and mental health.

Areas of support: To enhance community wellbeing and provide opportunities for positive and lasting change. Focus areas are: Education, Training and Employment; and Community Health and Social Wellbeing. Target communities for funding are: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, refugees, newly arrived migrants, CALD communities, and communities experiencing socio-economic disadvantage. Note: Programs with a main focus on disability, mental health, and healthcare (i.e. programs directly addressing illness and disease) are not current priority areas for the Bennelong Foundation.

Areas of support: Danks Trust provides grants to charitable organisations or projects that fit the categories of religion, education and/or the relief of poverty. Grant: Humpty Dumpty Foundation Equipment Funding
Areas of support: Funds life-saving equipment for neonatal, maternity, paediatric and emergency paediatric units of Australian hospitals. Includes items such as specific medical equipment and items to improve the healing environment in medical settings. Areas such as education and training are also supported.

Areas of support: Harcourts Foundation has a clear focus on providing grants to reputable community-based organisations which need funding for projects and initiatives designed to benefit as many people as possible. The Foundation will prioritise applications that demonstrate the widest community impact. Priority is also given to those areas where the Harcourts office is currently a financial contributor to The Harcourts Foundation.

Grant: Building Safer Communities Program – Crime Prevention Innovation Fund
Areas of support: Grants for partnership projects that deliver and evaluate innovative community safety and crime prevention initiatives in Victoria. The Crime Prevention Innovation Fund will support projects that: test new approaches to addressing crime and community safety issues that focus on prevention or early intervention that are evidence based and reflect promising practice; actively build capability within the community to understand and address crime and community safety issues; contribute to the evidence base of effective crime prevention practice.

Areas of support: Proposed projects must: benefit the wellbeing of local children and young people across one or more of the six wellbeing domains; meet an identified need within the local community; communities in rural and regional areas of Tasmania will be given priority; enhance existing or develop new infrastructure or social activities that will increase access to and promote recreational participation of children and young people in their local area; provide evidence of community consultation and support for the project, particularly consultation and support of local children and young people.
