Grant:  Department of Social Services – Structural Adjustment Fund

Areas of support: The purpose of the Fund is to support the employment of people with high support needs and assist the sector to evolve in line with the guiding principles for the future of supported employment (guiding principles) through the provision of grants. The department anticipates there will be a variety of approaches suitable for these grants, therefore does not intend to be prescriptive about what grant activities will be eligible. However, all grant activities must clearly align with the guiding principles, and support people with high support needs to progress towards their employment goals.

Grant:  Celebrating Reconciliation Grants Program 2024

Areas of support: The Program provides funding for local communities to host events that encourage participation in National Reconciliation Week. National Reconciliation Week is a national campaign held annually from 27 May to 3 June, celebrating and building on respectful relationships between Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous peoples. Organisations can apply for grants for events that support reconciliation between Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous Queenslanders.

Grant:  Sisters of Charity Foundation – Community Grants Program 2024 Round 1

Areas of support: These grants are aimed at helping groups who make a huge difference to those in need but struggle to find funding through other avenues. They may be ineligible for government assistance or be too small or lacking the right market appeal to attract the attention of larger organisations, but their causes are no less worthy, and their needs are no less real. Grants have been used to support a wide range of people, including those facing poverty and disadvantage, people living with disabilities, at-risk youth, refugees and asylum seekers, First Nations people, those experiencing homelessness or domestic violence, elderly people, and those who have been incarcerated or affected by substance abuse and their families.

Grant:  Capital of Equality Grants Program 2024 Stream 2: Partnership and Capacity Building

Areas of support: The Partnership and Capacity Building Stream is designed to help build capacity and sustainability of community organisations in the ACT region to meet the needs of the LGBTIQ+ community. The following is a small selection of capacity building activities that can receive funding through this stream. Support to incorporate and register entities: training and professional development to support organisation operations; projects to establish or expand service offerings; research and evidence gathering to support organisational capacity; improving capacity for business and strategic planning.

Grant:  Department of Defence: Family Support Funding Program (FSFP)

Areas of support: The objectives of Defence Community Grants, Family Support Funding Program are to: strengthen the resilience of military families and communities, helping them navigate the unique challenges and opportunities posed by the military lifestyle; provide resources and support systems that aid military families in managing deployments, relocations, and other stressors; foster a sense of community and collaboration among military families, enabling them to share experiences and support one another; develop and disseminate effective tools, programs, and services that address the mental, emotional, and practical needs of military families.

Grant:  Creative Victoria – Creative Projects Fund

Areas of support: The Creative Projects Fund supports projects led by Victorian professional artists, creative practitioners, groups/collectives and creative micro to small organisations which can include projects collaborating with creative and non-creative personnel (such as technicians, publicists etc). Funding can be used to: develop new creative content, products, or experiences and/or; present/launch creative content, products or experiences to local, national, and international markets and audiences.

Grant:  Queensland Destination Events Program (QDEP) – Round 27

Areas of support: The program seeks to leverage the crucial link between events and the destinations in which they are staged, extending the flow on effects of the economic, marketing and social benefits of events throughout metropolitan and regional Queensland. Funding comprises two categories: Destination event funding – single year funding for developing events seeking growth. Significant event funding – single year or up to three years of funding for events that can demonstrate a strong track record of growth or growth potential.

Grant:  Connecting to Country Grants (WA)

Areas of support: Supports projects that enable Western Australian Aboriginal people and organisations to undertake on Country activities that foster the intergenerational transfer of knowledge, preservation of culture and strengthening of communities. The program intends to: facilitate sharing of cultural knowledge and skills between generations; recognise Aboriginal cultural leadership within the Aboriginal community; contribute to stronger community mental health and wellbeing; strengthen traditional ways of maintaining cultural knowledge.
