Grant:  State Library of Western Australia – Encouraging Promising Practice and Technology and Digital Inclusion grants

Areas of support: The Technology and Digital Inclusion Grants are designed to enable local governments in Tiers 2 and 3 to respond to digital disadvantage within their communities. Digital inclusion relies on being able to both access and effectively use information and services online. The Encouraging Promising Practice Grants are designed to enable local governments in Tier 2 to better respond to the priorities of their communities in providing a 21st century public library service.

Grant:  Be Connected Grant Program – Building Digital Skills Grants Round 50

Areas of support: The grants fund community organisations to provide free digital skills support to older Australians aged over 50 years. These support sessions can be provided either one-on-one or in groups. Grant funding can be used to pay for the costs of providing this support, including staff and volunteer expenses; program marketing; devices and internet; room hire; catering; transport for participants to and from sessions.

Grant:  NT Government: Truth, Healing and Reconciliation Grant Program

Areas of support: The Truth, Healing and Reconciliation Grant Program (the Program) seeks to support healing and reconciliation in the Northern Territory by providing funding to eligible recipients to support truth-telling activities and initiatives. Truth-telling activities and initiatives include, but are not limited to: production and distribution of resources or materials (posters, videos, websites, podcasts etc.) that acknowledge, raise awareness, challenge myths and misconceptions, reduce stigma, or educate about the impact of Australia’s colonial history on Aboriginal Territorians; activities or initiatives that facilitate Aboriginal Territorians recording or sharing their stories in a safe and supportive way – e.g. the recording or sharing of oral histories and creative art performances about significant people or events.
