Grant:  2022 NAIDOC Local Grants Program

Areas of support: This grant round provides funding to Indigenous and non-Indigenous organisations to contribute to the costs of local and regional NAIDOC activities across Australia. NAIDOC activities should align with the 2022 theme ‘Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!’. The objectives of the program are to promote: the expression, engagement and conservation of Indigenous Australians’ cultures; Indigenous Australians’ participation in the social and economic life of Australia through healing, and strengthening the capability, governance and leadership of Indigenous Australians, organisations and communities; broader understanding and acceptance of the unique place of Indigenous Australians’ cultures in Australian society.

Grant:  Queensland Community Foundation General Fund 

Areas of support: The General Fund 2022 grant round will concentrate on organisational capacity building of mid-tier organisations building community resilience. The QCF Organisational Capacity Building Grants assist charities to develop their structures, systems, people, and skills to deliver improved outcomes for our community. Typically, capacity building focuses on education and training, recruiting, maintaining, or recognising volunteers, information technology support systems, staff training, and planning and governance which may include strategic plans, constitution reviews or board appraisals.

Grant:  Safe, Respected and Free from Violence Prevention Fund

Areas of support: The NTG provides the Safe, Respected and Free from Violence Prevention Grants to support primary prevention projects challenge and change social and cultural attitudes, practices and structures that underpin domestic, family and sexual violence. The aim of the Safe, Respected and Free from Violence Grants Program is to increase and strengthen evidence based primary prevention projects in the NT. Grants are available to support primary prevention of domestic, family and sexual violence projects across the NT.

Areas of support: The Flash Marketing Campaign is a quick response grant for upcoming projects to extend digital or grassroots marketing into a new visitor market. Enabling arts organisations to promote and develop cultural events for tourists across regional Australia. The program will increase tourism visitation in regional, rural and remote communities across Australia by providing financial support for arts and cultural activity. The program recognises that the cultural and creative industries play a critical role in contributing to the creativity, diversity and prosperity of Australia’s regional and rural economy.

Grant:  NAB Foundation – Community Grants 2022

Areas of support: To help safeguard communities by funding projects that prepare for natural disasters, support long-term recovery and build resilience against future disasters and climate change. Projects must aim to do one or more of the following: Readiness: help communities (people, environments, infrastructure) prepare for natural disasters; Recovery: help communities, landscapes and fauna rebuild and rehabilitate after natural disasters; Future-proofing: reduce the risk of future natural disasters by cutting a community’s carbon emissions.

Grant:  RACQ Foundation – Round 1 2022

Areas of support: RACQ Foundation helps impacted community groups recover from flooding, weather events, drought, bushfire and other natural disasters. The grant must be used to: pay for material items or something tangible; have a positive community impact; cover the costs incurred by the organisation in relation to the cleaning and restoration of property with any disaster mitigation works forming a component of the overall grant. 
Application deadline: 01 March 2022
Grant value: Typically up to $50,000. Up to $100,000 under exceptional circumstances.
