Grant:  Woolworths Pick Fresh Play Fresh Netball Grants 

Areas of support: The grants support grassroots netball clubs and associations across Australia. This year they’re helping clubs give young players more healthy, fresh nutrition at training and on match days. Judging criteria includes: applicants have a tangible project, activity or equipment they have in mind to utilise the grants money for; all projects for grant funding must tie into Pick Fresh (eating healthy food) or Play Fresh (being Active).

Areas of support: The program seeks to support a variety of garden types, not just traditional food gardens. Grants can fund: materials to build a new community garden or enhance an existing garden; equipment or contractor hire tools; minor infrastructure, such as storage sheds, pergolas, repair to existing garden beds and garden edging; significant infrastructure, such as earthworks for water harvesting and storage, plant propagation, fencing, plumbing, large-scale compost production and accessibility paths.
