The topic is set to be examined in a panel discussion at the upcoming Generosity Forum virtual conference.
The session will reveal why international aid causes speak to major donors in a way nothing else can, and what philanthropists get in return for their significant investments.
Representing children’s charity So They Can will be its CEO and Co-Founder, Cassandra Treadwell, as well as its Chair, Peter Hunt. So They Can is a not for profit organisation committed to empowering children living in poverty through education.
They will be joined by International Womens’ Development Agency CEO Bettina Baldesci. IWDA is the leading Australian agency entirely focussed on women’s rights and gender equality in Asia Pacific.
Dale Hess, Trustee at the Arnold Foundation, will round out the panel. Hess is a founding board member of the Herb Feith Foundation (now the Monash Herb Feith Indonesian Engagement Centre) and is the Secretary of the Pacific Fellowship.
